Joan and Tom welcome you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of life on our family run dairy and sheep farm. We are located on the Slea Head route at the foot of Mount Eagle and overlooking Ventry Bay. Our home is 10km from Dingle town, famous for its wonderful restaurants and pubs with traditional music and 1km from Ventry Blue Flag beach. Garvey's Farmhouse is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. Each bedroom has a wonderful view of either the sea of mountains. The facilities include free WIFI, television in all bedrooms and tea/coffee making facilities available in guest lounge.
Location
Garvey's Farmhouse is an ideal location for walking, Dingle Way Walk, hill climbing, cycling, visiting the many archaealogical sites and the locations of famous movies such as "Far and Away" and "Ryan's Daughter". Visiting Fungi, the famous dolphin, that has made Dingle harbour it's home since 1983. Many other activities are available in the area for example spending a day exploring on the Great Blasket Island. For the rainy day a visit to the many cultural and celtic museums and Ocean World will easily pass the day. The locality is steeped in history and archaeological artifacts, located on the owners farm are inscribed pre-christian stones. A beautiful cove which is just a 10 minute walk from the house can be enjoyed on your holiday.

How To Get Here
To find us take the Slea Head route from Dingle town for 10km, passing through Ventry village and past Paudie O'Shea's pub. We are located directly opposite the Prehistoric Celtic Museum.
